Warranty
Policy
What
the warranty covers -
OPTI-UPS warrants
its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship
during the warranty period. If a product proves to be defective
in material or workmanship during the warranty period, OPTI-UPS
will, at its sole option, repair or replace the product with
a similar product.
How
long the warranty is effective -

OPTI-UPS offers
3 years limited warranty for all UPS products from the date
of initial original purchase.

The third-year
warranty covers parts only.
What
the warranty does not cover -
-
Any product
that on which the serial number has been defaced, modified
or removed.

Damage, deterioration
or malfunction resulting from:
A. Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or
other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification,
or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
B. Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by
OPTI-UPS.
C. Damage to or loss of any programs, data or removable
storage media.
D. Software or data loss occurring during repair or replacement.
E. Any damage of the product due to shipment.
F. Improper removal or installation of the product
G. Causes external to the product, such as electric power
fluctuations or failure.
H. Use of supplies or parts not meeting OPTI-UPS specifications.
I. Any other cause which does not relate to a product defect.
J. An adverse operating environment.
K. Being operated outside the limits of its electrical specifications,
has been used in a manner contrary to the product's operating
manual or other written instructions.

To obtain warranty
service, please contact OPTI-UPS Customer Support for a
Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). You will
be required to provide
A. A copy of original invoice (Proof of Purchase)
B. Your name.
C. Your address.
D. The serial number of the product.
E. A description of the problem.

Be
sure to clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of
the box and to enclose the proof of purchase. Otherwise,
your return will be refused. Freight collect or C.O.D.
returns will also be refused.
NOTE: OPTI-UPS is not responsible for any returned
product without an assigned RMA.
