OPTI-UPS was founded
in 1991. Originally, OPTI-UPS was a brand name for UPS Products
in ViewSonic group. OPTI-UPS was spun off from Viewsonic group
to be an independent corporation. OPTI-UPS became ISO 9002
certificated for UPS Products as well as Switching Power Supplies
(SPS) Products. In 1997, OPTI-UPS set up its first overseas
branch office in California in USA and also qualified for
ISO 9001 Certificates for UPS Products. Since 1996 OPTI-UPS
established its OEM business with various prestigious companies
in the world such as Panasonic and OMERON in Japan, the first
German UPS company, On-Line USV in Germany and BT (British
Telecom) in the UK
In 1998, OPTI-UPS began to distribute UPS products through
IngramMicro, Tech Data and ASI Distribution Channels in the
USA. OPTI-UPS "is" has been promoting its brand-name all
over the world since 1999. In 2001, our second
overseas branch office was established in Melbourne,
Australia in order to cater market demands in Oceanic area.
In 2002, OPTI-UPS became one of the top 3 brand-names
for UPS Products in Australia. In 2003, OPTI-UPS
successfully won the government tender from Ministry of
Education in Turkey and began to explore marketing
opportunities in the neighboring countries such as Iran and
Middle East. In 2004, OPTI-UPS set up its logistic center in
Holland and began to serve Pan European customers with short
lead time. In 2005, OPTI-UPS set up another logistic center
in Dubai in order to provide better service to the UPS
market in Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia. In the
near future, OPTI-UPS will continue its efforts to achieve
the promise of providing effective and reliable power all
over the world. |
